As the spring sunshine found its way through the abundance of cherry blossom it had already created I closed my eyes for a moment and prayed. I thought please let this spring stop all pain and suffering, let it even bring an end to the war. Let it bring much needed healing. I named this painting in Italian as Italians are passionate about most things and most people are passionate about peace. Let those who are determined on a path of destruction change their minds, may they see the beauty that it all around them before it's too late! I pray future generations will be able to enjoy spring on this earth. As many painters, poets and people everywhere knew how miraculous a time it can be!
